A Halloween drawing game like the Google doodle
Trick or Draw is our Halloween drawing game. Ghosts drift toward your candy cauldron, each carrying a row of magic symbols: a line, a bar, a V, an upside-down V, a ring or a zap. Draw the symbol at the front of the row anywhere on the screen and every ghost showing it loses that symbol. If you remember the Google Halloween doodle where a little cat draws shapes to pop ghosts, the idea will feel familiar, but Trick or Draw is its own game, with 30 nights in five spooky places, 18 ghosts to collect, five boss fights and an endless Midnight Mode.
Halloween events in Eggnapped! and Reel Rush
Our other games dress up for October too. In Eggnapped!, pumpkin eggs turn up in the farm nests; sneak one home and it hatches into one of six Halloween pets. In Reel Rush, six Halloween fish join the ocean, from a Pumpkin Puffer in the shallows to a Jack-o'-Lantern Angler in the Abyss. Anything you hatch or catch stays in your collection after the event ends, and the events come back every October.

All three games are made to be cute rather than scary: no gore, no jump scares, no chat and no sign-up. Ghosts in Trick or Draw burst into confetti and candy, and the worst thing that happens in Eggnapped! is a grumpy goose chasing you home. Each round is short, so they work well for a classroom Halloween party, a rainy October afternoon or a few minutes before trick-or-treating, and progress saves automatically in the browser.
About these Halloween games
Play When Bored is a small independent studio, and every game on this page is our own: designed, drawn and scored in-house, not copied from another site. That is also why there are only a few of them. We would rather have three Halloween games that are genuinely fun than a long list of half-finished ones.

No. Trick or Draw is an original game made by Play When Bored and is not affiliated with Google. It shares the fun idea of Google's Halloween doodle games such as Magic Cat Academy, where you draw symbols to stop ghosts, and builds a full game around it with 30 nights, upgrades and bosses.
Are these Halloween games OK for kids?
Yes. They are cute rather than scary, with no gore, no jump scares, no chat and no account to create. Younger kids may need a hand with the drawing in Trick or Draw at first; the first nights only use simple lines.
Can I play these Halloween games on a school Chromebook?

When do the Halloween events end?
